Epidemiology of Habagat 2013
This blog is about the epidemiology of Habagat 2013 as it developed into a Tropical Storm 'Maring.' Data recorded about the injuries and deaths are reported during and after the Habagat, which occurred for almost two weeks. Every day, starting from August 17 to August 30, 2013, we collected the general information about the disaster and its effects in our country, the Philippines, and consequently presented them here.

Summary of Data: Tables and Equations
With the collected reports on injuries and deaths, the cumulative incidence, case fatality rates and proportionate mortality ratio were computed through the following formula, and the results are as follows:
Cumulative Incidence = [(no. of new cases / population at risk given a period of time)]
